Wow, I finally feel like I can post in this thread because I FINALLY bought/paid for my '97 Savage last night! We trailered it to the shop to get safetied and I may have it in my possession at the end of next week. Finally!

I've only been riding for a year but I rode on the back for about six years before finding a good enough excuse to learn to ride my own bike. Like Lisa (WDO) said, except in an emergency I'm not interested in riding on the back anymore. If I can't ride my own, I'm not riding! :) It sure is a different thrill from the driver's seat...
